  13. This file provides information for Shareware Distributors, Disk Vendors and
  14. Computer Clubs who wish to distribute CUSTOM SCREEN SAVER.

  17.                          Distribution Requirements

  20. Computer Clubs and User Groups wishing to add the CUSTOM SCREEN SAVER             
  21. to their disk library may do so in accordance with the Distribution
  22. Restrictions listed below.
  23.  
  24. Limited Distribution License:

  27. As the exclusive copyright holder for CUSTOM SCREEN SAVER, ACCIDENTAL 
  28. SOFTWARE authorizes distribution only in accordance with the following
  29. restrictions.
  30.  
  31. CUSTOM SCREEN SAVER  - including all related documentation files - CANNOT be
  32. modified in any way and must be distributed as a complete package, without 
  33. exception.
  34.  
  35. Small additions to the package, such as the introductory or installation
  36. batch files used by many shareware disk vendors, are acceptable.
  37.  
  38. No price or other compensation may be charged for CUSTOM SCREEN SAVER.  
  39. A distribution fee may be charged for the cost of the diskette, shipping and 
  40. handling, as long as the total (per disk) does not exceed $8.00 in the 
  41. U.S. and Canada, or US $12.00 internationally.

  43. Disk Sets & CD-ROMs:

  45. CUSTOM SCREEN SAVER cannot be sold as part of some other inclusive package.  
  46. Nor can it be included in any commercial software packaging offer, without 
  47. a written agreement from ACCIDENTAL SOFTWARE.

  49.    Vendors who wish to distribute CUSTOM SCREEN SAVER as part of a 
  50.    collection (such as PsL's MegaDisk set, or a CD-ROM package) may do so 
  51.    provided that all the other restrictions are met.

  53.    please check the release date of the version you have.  If the version
  54.    is over twelve (12) months old then please contact us to ensure that you
  55.    have the most current version.

  57. Disk-of-the-Month (or Subscription) Distribution:

  59. If you would like to distribute CUSTOM SCREEN SAVER as a Disk-of-the-Month, 
  60. or as part of a subscription or monthly service, then the following 
  61. restrictions apply:

  63.    Vendors must contact us in advance to ensure that you have the most 
  64.    current version of the software.
  65.  
  66.    You cannot use a Disk-of-the-Month distribution to use up your inventory
  67.    of old (out of date) disks.  Only current versions may be shipped as
  68.    Disk-of-the-Month disks.
  69.  
  70. CUSTOM SCREEN SAVER can be "rented" or "leased" to others.
  71.  
  72. You may not list any of our products in advertisements, catalogs, or other
  73. literature which describes our products as "FREE SOFTWARE".  Shareware is
  74. "Try-Before-You-Buy" software, it is not free.
  75.  
  76. ACCIDENTAL SOFTWARE prohibits the distribution of outdated versions of 
  77. CUSTOM SCREEN SAVER, without written permission from ACCIDENTAL SOFTWARE.  
  78. If the version you have is over twelve (12) months old, please contact us 
  79. to ensure that you have the most current version.

  81. This shareware version of CUSTOM SCREEN SAVER is provided as an unregistered
  82. version.  Distribution of the REGISTERED VERSION of this software is a 
  83. violation of its copyright.
